Ask anyone who has been suffering from joint pain the importance of staying ahead of the pain. At Advanced Relief Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Neel Amin recommends that I begin my process with an MRI to share with him the most extensive view of my problem area. In my case, it is my right hip.I called my primary care doctor and asked him to order this. (FYI, I take a heart medication, so to get an MRI, I had to also get blood work to check on my heart and kidney health). An MRI is a magnetic resonance imaging scan using a strong magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues within your body.

Once I get the MRI, Dr. Neel Amin will be able to know the severity of my pain. How I understand it, using nonmusical terms, he measures the distance between the ball and socket of the joint. The less space between the joint and the bone, the more pain.

When he finds the exact location of the pain, he may decide that I need to reduce some inflammation before I proceed with the stem cell treatment. Also, Dr. Neel Amin also shared that he may use PRP treatment to boost my immune system and recovery time.
