Meet Dr. Zach Broyer

Dr. Zach Broyer is a double board-certified physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as interventional pain management. He has over 20 years of experience treating pain and helping people recover.

Education, Training, and Teaching

Dr. Broyer attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and graduated with his medical degree in 1997. He underwent residency training and a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital between 1998 and 2002. The residency was in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and the fellowship was in anesthesiology and ACGME-accredited interventional pain management.

In addition to his trainings at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Dr. Broyer was a clinical instructor there, where he taught students and residents the skills needed to treat patients with pain.

Dr. Broyer has presented at several conferences and meetings on multiple subjects, including:

  • Interventional procedures for buttock pain
  • Paraparesis following epidural injection
  • Lumbosacral facet syndrome
  • Sciatica
