Dr. Broyer uses a multidisciplinary approach that may include pain management procedures, medications, physical therapy, acupuncture, or other modalities. By combining these treatments, he can produce results that are greater than the sum of their parts.
Dr. Broyer attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and graduated with his medical degree in 1997. He underwent residency training and a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital between 1998 and 2002. The residency was in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and the fellowship was in anesthesiology and ACGME-accredited interventional pain management.
In addition to his trainings at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Dr. Broyer was a clinical instructor there, where he taught students and residents the skills needed to treat patients with pain.
Dr. Broyer is a skilled doctor and researcher. He has written several abstracts, book chapters, and other works pushing the field of pain management forward. He has also published his research in several journals and books.
