“I’m So Excited! Can’t Hide It!”

June 11, 2020 | Mesenchymal Stem Cell injection

Get In Touch

Tuesday is the day I’m set to get my #Mesenchymal #RejuvenationStemCell treatment. I can hardly hold down my excitement. Everyone I meet sees this glint of something different in my exuberant face. “What’s going on? Why are you so happy?” I’ve heard about 20 times in the last couple of days.

I don’t hesitate to share my great news, because this is literally one of the most fascinating times of my life. I’m teetering on a moment that could and should (80-85% chance) be changing my physical body for the better—forever. The right hip that has been aching every time I get up from bed, a chair, the toilet… will be on its way to making new tissue, new bone, and a new synovial cushion for my hip joint in weeks to months, more and more growth as time passes. The entire process takes currently about ten months.

Mesenchymal Stem Cells for Pain and Joint Rejuvenation is the new wave of medicine, I’m sure. I’m so certain that I’m dedicating some of my work life to educating the people around me. Every day, some people I don’t know will be blessed with this amazing news. I’m discovering that people have grave misconceptions about the #Origination_of_Stem_Cells and where they come from.

Just yesterday, a friend said, “I know where they come from. They take some cells from your spine and mix them with your blood— ” I stopped her there.

“Yes,” I said. “That’s a treatment known as PRP (PRP injections are used for several reasons, from encouraging and promoting soft tissue-healing to using PRP to encourage healing and to reduce inflammation. In combination with stem-cell therapy, PRP can be another catalyst to help your body recover and begin making its own healing cells more quickly and expediently)—well sort of. It’s an old stem cell treatment, that has been modified to combine with the Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapy. The newest cutting-edge stem cells are taken from the Wharton’s Jelly of an umbilical cord, which healthy women donate after a perfect birth. These cells are then carefully grown in laboratories.”

My friend was a little surprised to realize that her understanding of #StemCells was already old news. The #ScienceofStemCells is changing every day. These new #Mesenchymal Cells are called #PluripotentStemCells, which means that the StemCells can become varies different kinds of cells, (skin cells, bone, tissue, organ).

This new information is what has given me such hope for the future. I know that you will find hope with me. Just keep reading as I go through this process with some of the patients Dr. Neel Amin.
